FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) technique is the most effective method to extract grafts from the donor area. At Adonis it is the first step in any hair transplant.
What is speciall about this technique? The speciall side of the FUE technique is, that the grafts are getting extracted one by one.
How does the FUE hair transplant work?
The FUE Technique involves the extraction one by one from the back and sides of the head to implant them afterwards to the balding areas, to the receding hairline or thin crown area. Over a 6–12-month period, these hair will grow. The result is a naturally grown hair.
The process is performed under local anesthesia. Once the local anestahesia works and the patient is unable to feel anything, our surgeons extract each Grafts individually.
The extracted Grafts get stored in a nutrition rich liquid. The next part of the procedure applies an artistic touch as our surgeons must consider hair depth, angulation, direction, and density to provide a as natural and realistic look as possible.
The donor area where the hair has been extracted from, heal with point like scars less than a millimeter. These FUE scars cannot be seen once the hair has grown to a grade of 1 or 2 cm.
In the first 1-3 months, the implanted hair will fall. The hair will grow again in 4-12 months.
Depending on the Area where the hair is taken, FUE hair transplant should last for 20 years and potentially a lifetime.
